PCI Pal seeks to provide a clean and pleasing office space for its employees and visitors.
As people will inevitably be using utensils and mugs and generating waste, this involves a little effort and consideration from us all to maintain the office in a state we can be proud of.
Toilets
The ladies and gents’ lavatories should be in a clean and pleasant condition with adequate supplies of soap, towels and other requisites. Should there be shortages or the facilities become non-functional, employees should ensure a manager is notified at the earliest opportunity.
Smoking Outside
While the company discourages smoking, if employees do take a smoking break outside of the building, consideration must be given to the location. Please do not smoke directly next to the front door, but instead at least a few metres away. Please also do not smoke in front of our neighbour's offices.
Kitchens
The kitchen areas are for the communal use of all employees and the tidy condition of these facilities is important. All cups should either be placed in the dishwasher or washed out, and not simply left in the sink, while everyone should complete the general wiping of the work surfaces, as and when required. Additionally, the dishwasher should be emptied at any time that it has completed its washing cycle.
Fridges
These are for the use of all employees. However they should not be used for large supplies of food to be consumed over a period as this reduces the available space for other employees. All food should be marked with the employee’s name. Any unmarked food will be disposed of.
Meeting Rooms
These facilities should be kept tidy and clean, with all cups and mugs removed to the kitchen, and any rearranged furniture returned to its original location.
