Social Media
As part of the company’s policy regarding media, staff should be aware that defamatory comments made about the company on websites and blogs will be taken very seriously and may lead to disciplinary action and legal proceedings. You can read more in the Social Media policy.
Staff Data
Staff may be asked to submit additional personal information or views as part of an interview, survey or other information gathering exercise, either when they commence employment, or as part of one-off initiatives. This information may be shared on noticeboards (both electronic and paper form), and social media sites (including the company Facebook and/or LinkedIn pages). If staff do not wish to disclose this information, or for it to be shared, they should make their line manager aware prior to the interview or survey.
The company will monitor both employees and the work environment using various methods.
CCTV
All staff should be aware that CCTV is used at various locations for the purpose of safety, security and monitoring access. This monitoring can and is extended to other sites where deemed necessary.
