All requests for salary/benefit verification (for example, mortgage or rental agreements, etc) should be made to Shelley Allsopp, Finance Manager and Rachael Drouet, People and Development Manager.
Employment References
Employment references (for example, that confirm an employee's position, time employed, etc), must be sent to Rachael Drouet. Our general guidance is we will only provide work references for one year after leaving PCI Pal employment. PCI Pal will confirm the employees:
Name
Job title
Time employed
Reason for leaving
Permission must be obtained from the employee for whom the reference is being requested for. This is usually done as part of the exit interview process.
Employment References (prior to starting employment at PCI Pal)
Offers of employment are subject to background checks and satisfactory work references. Wherever possible we will request a work reference from previous employers going back over 3 years of employment history. We will request the following information regarding our employees:
Type of reference supplied (for US people this will be work references only, not personal)
How long the referee has known you
Dates employed
Quality of work, reliability, honesty and attitude to others
Personal References
If you decide to provide a personal reference for an employee (either current or ex) you must clearly state that this is a personal reference, which has no bearing on their performance and conduct whilst employed with PCI Pal. Do not send any communications on PCI Pal headed paper or from a PCI Pal email account. You must not issue references confirming any employment details for employees.
